Halloween

Several months ago we saw a cute little turtle costume at Costco so we got it for Danny. But we had a hard time with Elijah. He had received several Star Wars themed toys for his birthday, and decided he wanted to be a Jedi for Halloween. But we had a really hard time finding a cute costume that was not super expensive. Then while we were at the store Elijah found a Star Trek laser gun that was 50% off. He really wanted it so he decided to be a star trek guy. So we found this cute Captain Kirk costume online, and it was on clearance too! I think it's the costume from the new movie, not the old show. Whatever it was, he sure looked cute in it! And Danny made an absolutely adorable turtle. Except people kept referring to him as HER and SHE! I didn't think he looked like a girl, but oh well.

A friend of ours goes all out for Halloween. He has a mystery van from Scooby Doo and a really cool Ghost Busters car. This year he built a Star Trek space ship. So of course we had to take Elijah to see it.

Elijah sitting in the drivers seat of the space ship. The inside was so cool! It had lights everywhere and all of these realistic looking controls. It even talked. Elijah felt like he was at Disneyland!

Danny just enjoyed walking around and looking at everything.

After leaving his house we went to the ward trunk-or-treat. The kids had so much fun! Danny looked so cute lugging around his big bucket of candy.
