This morning as I was yet again doing another load of laundry Elijah followed me into the laundry room. He is currently going through the question phase. Everything is "why?" or "what's that?" He wants to understand absolutely everything. So as I was starting the laundry he asked what I was doing, "I'm washing your clothes and blankets," "why?" "so you can have clean clothes" "what is that?" "I'm adding soap to the machine" "Why?" "To make them clean" "But why?" "the soap makes your blankets and sheets nice and clean for you to sleep on" And my favorite part, when his curiosity is finally satisfied.............."Ohhhhh, Thank You Mom!"
That just makes it all worth it, isn't motherhood great?!

Cute. Yes--I get those moments every once in a while too. They are sweet.
