The start of a new year!

2009 is already looking up. Shortly after the new year, Mike got a surprise in the mail, his Nevada teaching license! Finally after all these months he is a certified teacher.....now that he's decided he doesn't want to be a teacher of course. Then we got even better news last week. Mike got the job he's been hoping for the last few months. He is a contracted graphic designer for Soft Source, a computer company owned by a man in our ward. He unfortunately did not get a full-time job, but at the end of the 3 month contract it will hopefully become one. And now that he has his license he can sub part-time too, so things are looking really good. Today is his first day and he is really excited about this career. It is something he really enjoys and is very good at, I am so proud of him! Thank you so much to all of our family and friends, we really appreciate all of the prayers on our behalf. Last year was a very tough one and we have high hopes for 2009. Thank you all!
