So, I know it's been awhile since we've really posted anything of substance. We've been really bad about putting up pictures, and if you've talked to us lately you've probably wanted to hang up quickly because we have been pretty negative. We've had a tough few months, but we have decided to try to enjoy the little things. We are unfortunately still at my parents house in Sun City, CA. We definitely did not plan on still being here this time of year, but Mike has had a very hard time finding a job. Right now we don't care if it's teaching, we are willing to go anywhere and do anything as long as we can live in our own home. Anyway we are hoping that something will come up soon! In the meantime we had a great time celebrating Elijah's birthday. I can't believe he is 3 now! We decided to use the last of our 4-day Disney pass to go for Elijah's birthday, so just the four of us went and had a great time.

Elijah wore his Peter Pan costume again, and was excited about going on the Peter Pan ride.

Tired Danny slept right through the Jungle Cruise, right in Daddy's lap.

Elijah in line for his first roller coaster, Gadget's Go Coaster in Toon Town. He loved it so much we took turns taking him so he could go twice (Danny was too short).

Elijah was so excited to meet Mickey Mouse, this was the only picture we could get with him looking at the camera and not Mickey.

After meeting Mickey Mouse Elijah got to sit in Mickey's car.

Elijah coming off his second time on the roller coaster. He was also tall enough to go on the Matterhorn this trip, and he also enjoyed that, but we didn't get any pictures.

Danny sitting on Minnie Mouse's bed in Toon Town.

Elijah absolutely loved the rockets in Tomorrow Land, he is a little thrill seeker! Those things go pretty high and fast. I kept feeling like he was going to fly out of my arms!

After the rockets we saw the Mad Hatter walk by. Those costume characters do such a good job! I think it would be such a fun job to have. This guy was talking to Elijah about his friend Tinker Bell and about pixie dust and stuff, he had a great accent and everything. I think meeting Captain Jack Sparrow was the best. It was just like Johnny Depp had stepped out of the movie, he was so good.

Dumbo was another favorite.

My guys, waiting for the Tiki Room.

As we were leaving we saw Minnie Mouse. Elijah danced over to her and so she grabbed his hands and they danced, it was so cute.

Then she knelt down and Elijah took of his hat and gave it to her, so she put it on her head.

She thought Danny was just the cutest, she kept kissing his head, we were lucky to get this pictures with both kids kinda looking at the camera not at Minnie.

Tram ride back to the car, still happy after a long day of playing hard.

We know how that feels! When we first came to oregon we lived with Dan's parents for 8 months and had no job for the first 3 months--it was so hard on everyone. Good luck with that!!
that looks like so much fun! his nemo birthday cake turned out way better then the one i made for Williams 2nd birthday!:) but you are the expert! lol
Thanks Rebecca, I know we're not the only ones struggling, but sometimes it really hard with 2 young kids!
Thanks Alina, I'm sure yours turned out really cute too! You should have seen my jello, that was not so great. I thought it would be cute to get a big glass "fish bowl" and fill it with blue jello with lots of cute gummy fish. Unfortunately the gummy fish got all soft and the colors ran, it looked cute, but the candy tasted gross!
